Learning and Development – Design and Delivery

Barts Health learning and development team provides a comprehensive portfolio of programmes suitable for all staff groups. Our programmes are broadly split into two areas, Leadership and Management (Institute of Leadership and Management) ILM4 and Mary Seacole Programme which are accredited programmes, as well as a range of short half day workshops to support aspiring and new managers and a range of soft skills including Train the Trainer programmes with the majority of our programmes offered as class-room based training, some courses are virtual and our soft skills as a blend of e-learning and classroom.
In addition to the above we are also responsible for the design and delivery of Corporate Induction (held weekly).
The Learning and Development team are an accredited centre for ILM and approved to deliver the ILM4 qualification.  We are also providing the L5 Mary Seacole programme to strengthen our management and leadership offer.
The above qualifications will give those already in a management position the theory, knowledge, and practical skills to be an effective manger and leader.
To apply for a place on the above courses you need to complete an ILM or Mary Seacole application form which has been approved by your line manager, please contact Fabia Ghany – f.ghany@nhs.net for the relevant application form.
