Education Academy website: This is the main entry point to our systems. On the website you will find links to our other systems and information on each of our services.

Learning Portal: The Learning Portal allows you to see and download a copy of your training history, together with completing your statutory and mandatory training, booking a fit test and applying for medical study leave.

Moodle: Our moodle site contains all elearning packages, with the exception of statutory and mandatory training which is hosted on the learning portal. If you have been asked to complete a package for a course you will find it here.

CATQR: The CATQR system is a mobile app that you can find on Google Play or the App Store. When you attend a face to face training session simply scan the QR code using the CATQR app and your attendance will automatically be registered on our system.

FAQs

How do I create a profile ID?

You can create a Profile ID by going to learning.bartshealth.nhs.uk. You will require your email address and National Insurance (N.I) number to do so. Your NI number will be encrypted which will generate your Profile ID, this will be immediately emailed to the address you provided. We only store the ProfileID in our systems, this keeping your NI number secure.

I have forgotten my Profile ID, how can I get this?

If you go to learning.bartshealth.nhs.uk you will see a Forgot my Profile ID link. By clicking on this, your Profile ID will be sent to the email account used to set up your profile.

How do I know what statutory and mandatory training I need to do?

We use a system called WIRED to report on statutory and mandatory training across the Trust. The system provides a statutory, mandatory and essential training profile for each staff member and shows their compliance against each subject. WIRED can be accessed using the Trust intranet WeShare page. At the bottom of the home page under useful links, applications is listed. If you click on this you will see the WIRED app listed. WIRED is an open system and no password is required to access. Once you access the system, click on individual records and then individual employee records. Type in your name and click view report on the right hand side of the screen. You will then see a list of the training you need to do.

How do I complete the statutory and mandatory training I need to do?

The majority of statutory and mandatory training is completed using e-learning or study guide and an online assessment to test understanding. On your WIRED record, there is a link against each subject on how to achieve compliance. This will take you to the learning portal where the resources and assessments can be accessed.

How long does it take for my records to be updated?

We update the WIRED system three mornings a week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. After completing a subject, your records will be updated in line with this schedule.

The link to the learning portal isn’t working, how can I access this?

Please try another browser such as Chrome or Fire Fox. If you are still having difficulty please contact the team on the following email address: statandmand.bartshealth@nhs.net

I am a new starter in the Trust, can I transfer my training across?

Yes you can if your previous organisation and training was aligned to the national Core Skills Training Framework. Please ask your previous employer to email you your training record and forward this to statandmand.bartshealth@nhs.net together with your 8-digit employee number found on your payslip and we will be able to transfer this over.

I attended a face to face training session but my WIRED record has not been updated why is this?

We use a system call Class Attendance Tracker (CATQR) to record attendance. This requires you to have downloaded the CAT app to your mobile phone which then enables you to scan the QR code for the session. If you did not scan the code or alert the trainer to the fact that you do not have the CATQR app to enable them to record your attendance, your record will not have been updated. Please contact the trainer to update CATQR and confirm your attendance. If the trainer cannot confirm your attendance you will have to repeat the session.

Delegates are responsible for ensuring that their attendance has been recorded.
